Drilling Fluid Solid Content Analyzer
1. Uses and Characteristics
The ZNG-A drilling fluid solid-phase content analyzer is an instrument used to separate and measure the volumes of water, oil, and solids in a drilling-fluid sample, providing the foundation for understanding solid-phase concentration and composition as well as the viscosity and filtrate-control properties of water-based drilling fluids.
In the distillation apparatus, a known volume of water-based drilling fluid sample is heated to vaporize its liquid-phase components, which are then condensed and collected in a graduated cylinder. The volume of the liquid phase is determined directly from the readings for the oil phase and the water phase in the cylinder. The total solid-phase volume (both suspended and dissolved) is calculated as the difference between the sample’s total volume and the liquid-phase volume.
This instrument features a stainless steel housing, analog voltage meter display, and adjustable heating power. With its elegant appearance, compact design, and user-friendly operation, it is an ideal specialized instrument for both laboratory and field applications.2. Model and Specifications

China’s instrumentation industry is poised to seize numerous opportunities. The rapid development of new energy sources such as wind power, nuclear power, and solar energy; the expansion of the Internet of Things, smart grids, and high-speed and urban rail transit; and the growing emphasis on energy conservation, emission reduction, and low-carbon development are all driving broader applications and stronger market demand for instrumentation. Concurrent with advances in microelectronics, computing, networking, and communications technologies, the intelligentization of instrumentation has become the dominant trend. Accordingly, during the 12th Five-Year Plan period, China will prioritize the development of smart instrumentation, strive to penetrate high-end markets, and elevate the overall level of the industry.
