Mud pressure gauge
Type D gauges can accurately and rapidly display mud pressure values. They are widely used in industries such as petroleum, chemical engineering, machinery, coal mining, and pharmaceuticals—for example, in oil production applications like drilling, fracturing, and blowout prevention—primarily for monitoring standpipe pressure in mud pumps. This model of mud pressure gauge features stable indication and clear readings, making it well suited for remote observation. The instrument is designed to prevent clogging: the measured medium cannot enter the gauge’s internal components, thereby accommodating high-viscosity, high-solids-content, and easily solidifying media such as drilling mud. It has already been extensively adopted in Europe and North America.
