Marsh funnel viscometer
The Marsh funnel viscometer is an instrument used for routine measurement of drilling fluid viscosity. It is manufactured in accordance with the American Petroleum Institute (API) standard and determines drilling fluid viscosity by measuring the time it takes for 946 mL of drilling fluid to flow out of the funnel.
This instrument is portable and easy to operate, making it widely used in petroleum geology exploration and other fields; it is particularly well suited for routine on-site measurement of drilling fluid viscosity at field drilling locations.
